Dr Taylor Ellis
Qualifications:
BSc (Clin.Sc), BSc (Osteo), Registered Osteopath
Member of Osteopathy Australia
Taylor first discovered Osteopathy through a longtime practice of yoga, and moved from Perth to study in Melbourne.
He enjoys uncovering the world that lives underneath physical injuries and how through working with the forces inherent in the human being the whole person may find a renewed sense of place within themselves. He draws on his background in teaching yoga and breathing, tutoring anatomy and work in aged care to assist patients in appreciating movement in all forms; and how it instills a sense of agency and understanding in the treatment journey.
Taylor regularly undertakes continued learning: whether it's professionally through biodynamics and cranial courses, or recreationally through studying anatomy and spending time in nature; both continue to teach him that Osteopathy is a philosophy practiced throughout his life.
Taylor practices in Castlemaine on Tuesdays & Fridays, and in Kyneton on Mondays & Thursdays
